What type of case do you need to apply?
If you have the following cases you are eligible to apply for a lawsuit loan.
Personal Injury
Worker's Comp Case
Auto Accident
Wrongful Death Claim
Medical Malpractice
Slip and Fall

When does Preferred Capital get paid?
Preferred Capital typically is paid at the same time and in the same manner in
which the clients are paid - out of the proceeds of their claims. Preferred
Capital loans usually are for a one-year term (or until the borrower's claim is
resolved if within the year period.) However, if the claim is not resolved
within the year, and if the borrower remains in compliance with the loan
agreement, Preferred Capital will renew the loan for additional one-year terms
until the case is resolved.
Do you need to have good credit to apply?
No. The lawsuit loan is based on the merit of the claim. It does not reflect on
your credit rating or job status.
Is this legal?
As long as the lawsuit lender is licensed. PCL was the first LICENSED finance
lawsuit lending company in the State of Illinois to offer these types of loans.
Almost all other companies that hold themselves out to advance cash or take an
interest in the claim are unlicensed.
